Decisions made in the Display Features dialog box determine the way your pages look. Here the store administrator can decide which types of search options will be available to the customer and how they will be displayed. Orders are processed through to approved methods of payment, calculating shipping charges, taxes and discounts, and updating inventory. Multiple tax rates can be defined, three for local and three for export orders.	Purchasing with Speedware Store Three search options are available to make purchasing easy. The text search facility allows customers to enter a few key words that are matched against the product description or both the product description and category. The product groups are displayed on screen in a pull-down list. Customers can select categories from one, many or all the groups, and only records that qualify will be listed. The primary product group categories are graphically displayed at the bottom of the screen. Customers can click on any of these categories, and will automatically be guided through its subcategories until a list of products is qualified. All of these searches result in a list of products with a description and price. The customer is able to research your products by browsing any attached HTML pages giving additional information and see any graphics, sound or video relating to the product. Customers load all purchases into the shopping cart, and at any time the customer can see a complete list, with pricing, of what they have currently selected. They also have the option to return product to the "shelf" before checking out. Speedware Store takes the whole purchasing process through to payment. It gives the customer a complete quotation including taxes, and a choice of approved payment methods. Options include purchase orders and secure methods of payment such as CyberCash. When customers make a purchase, the Store collects valuable customer information, stored for automatic retrieval the next time they purchase from your store. This information is also available to the company for ongoing marketing activities. The information collected in Speedware Store integrates easily into an existing systems infrastructure, reducing the need to reinvest time and money to develop a new system. The company can forward the order collected through the Store to other operational subsystems within their organization, like order entry or inventory, for further processing and shipment, or process them directly from the Store.
